Students in this reporting class are the first to produce audio stories -- often called podcasts--that can be downloaded and listened to with an mp3 player. This post has links to six of those stories, examples of the high quality of the work on this assignment.
Students were told to produce a reaction/localization to a story published on a newspaper web site. Students could select from three stories provided by the instructor, or choose one of their own.
An audio podcast, like a radio story, must be written for the ear. So students were told to write a radio script. To hear the results click on a student's name, which opens a link to their story. You can play the story in your mp3 player, or download the file and play it later.
